On the occasion of the traditional Christmas Charity Alumni Event yesterday at the Erste Bank Lounge in the heart of Vienna, supporting a charitable cause was a top priority of the event. Besides celebrating and networking, more than 80 national and international MBA alumni bought raffle tickets to support the “Akshaya Patra Foundation,” an NGO which distributes healthy meals to 1.4 million children in India daily. The Indian Ambassador, Mr. Rajiva Misra, strongly welcomed the WU Executive Club’s initiative in his opening speech.

Studying in China: Unique opportunity for Global Executive MBA students

From now on, participants of the Global Executive MBA have the opportunity to choose their place of study. Depending on their personal preferences, participants in the dual-degree MBA program can now complete selected modules either in Vienna or at the Chinese partner university, the Lignan (University) College. This step makes the program even more attractive and gives students greater freedom of choice.

With 14 women and 14 men, the current Executive MBA Bucharest class is the biggest since the program's inception in 2007. During a gala evening at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest on November 11, 2014, Prof. Bodo B. Schlegelmilch extended a warm welcome to the new MBA students. The atmosphere among the students after the opening event and the first module was exceptional.
