New format, new content and new name: the Certificate Program Marketing & Sales.

On another note, read about counterfeiters like “Shanzhai” in this edition of our newsletter: Originally identified as a major threat to multinational manufacturers, cheap imitations, dubbed “Shanzhai,” have enriched the product landscape in recent years. The reason why global players like Samsung started to regularly buy these products to generate new ideas is explained by Prof. Barbara Stöttinger.

On the occasion of an exclusive welcome dinner for the new Global Executive MBA class in the splendid setting of Palais Coburg on April 7, 2015, Robert Ottel, CFO and Member of the Management Board of voestalpine AG, extended a warm welcome to the 41 international students. In his keynote speech, he not only stressed the particular importance of a healthy corporate culture, but also shared his personal MBA experience with the new class.

First class of the LL.M. “Wirtschaftskriminalität und Recht” has graduated

In a festive graduation ceremony at WU’s Library and Learning Center last week, the first-ever graduates of the of the Master of Laws (LL.M.) “Wirtschaftskriminalität und Recht”, which the WU Executive Academy designed exclusively for the Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice (BMJ), received their diplomas. Thanks to the practical understanding and know-how that they have acquired, the LL.M. graduates will be able to combat corruption and white-collar crime more effectively in their day-to-day work.
