When delving deeply into the subject of his master thesis, Igor Pejic noticed that most of what he found was either highly technical or speculative. In an effort to remedy the situation, the former business journalist decided to write a proposal for a book covering blockchain, the technology behind cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, in a practical, easy-to-understand manner. Igor‘s commitment finally paid off: The jury of the prestigious Bracken Bower Prize, which is awarded annually by the Financial Times and McKinsey, invited him and two other finalists to a ceremony in London.
