According to the Financial Times Skills Gap Survey, some leadership skills are currently in high demand, as they are particularly difficult to recruit. Barbara Stöttinger, Dean of the WU Executive Academy, and Martina Ernst, founder of the consulting firm SalaryNegotiations. and former head of HR at Erste Bank, have taken a closer look at which skills and what mindset leaders should have. They also comment on why some skills are difficult to get from an employer's perspective.

Many new, promising technologies come and go, irregardless if there is a great deal of global hype surrounding them. A technology that is here to stay, though, is the blockchain - experts all over the world are sure of that. One of them is Prof. Alfred Taudes, Head of WU Vienna's Research Institute for Cryptoeconomics. Starting in fall 2019, the WU Executive Academy will prepare the top talents of Porsche Holding for the rapid lane change in the automotive industry and for new global mobility concepts with an in-house MBA program.
